Hi! I’m a graphic designer who accidentally fell in love with performance photography. It all started back in 2012 when my kids were in theatre and music. There were never any photos of those magical moments on stage… so I started taking them myself. I shared a few, and soon performers started asking if I could capture theirs too. I’ve shot images for Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show, Central Memorial’s PVA Theatre program, dance studios, vocal studios, musicians, musical theatre groups and festivals.

To me, it’s all about the faces — the raw emotion, the little moments, the split-second expressions that say everything. I mostly go for the close-ups that show it all — nerves, joy, passion… the story.

This gallery is a collection of some of my favourite moments on stage — full of energy, emotion, and a lot of love for the arts.
